Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information GEO Pilot ("GEO Pilot", "we", "us") collects when you use usegeopilot.com and the GEO Pilot app (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email address. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk; we never see them.
- Your content: the text, links, files, recordings and topics you add; your brand profiles; the content the Service generates; your calendar; and the prompts you track for AI visibility.
- Billing information: your plan, credit balance and purchase history. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
- Connected accounts: if you connect LinkedIn, the access token LinkedIn gives us, stored encrypted, plus basic profile details needed to post for you.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and logs of requests and errors, which we use to keep the Service running and secure.
2. How we use it
- to provide the Service: generating, scoring, scheduling and publishing your content, and running AI visibility checks;
- to manage your account, credits and payments;
- to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, such as duplicate free-trial accounts;
- to respond to you and send important account or service messages;
- to understand and improve how the Service works.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
3. How AI processing works
To create and score your content, we send your inputs and brand profile to AI model providers through Vercel's AI Gateway. These may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity and xAI. AI visibility checks send the prompts you track to AI search engines and LLMs to see how they answer. We don't use your content to train our own models.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run GEO Pilot, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
5. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your content and personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons, such as payment records.
7. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, encrypted storage of connected-account tokens, and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your content and brand profiles in the app at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing support@usegeopilot.com. Depending on where you live, including California and the EU or UK, you may have additional rights, such as objecting to certain processing. We'll respond within the time the law requires, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
9. Children
The Service isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
10. International users
GEO Pilot is based in the United States, and your information is processed in the US. By using the Service from another country, you understand your information will be transferred to the US.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
