Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GEO Pilot, including the website at usegeopilot.com and the GEO Pilot app (together, the "Service") ("GEO Pilot", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company, you agree to them on its behalf.

1. The Service

GEO Pilot turns content you provide, or a topic you enter, into new content in formats such as blog articles, FAQ pages, press releases, social posts and video scripts. It scores that content for how likely AI search engines are to quote it, helps you schedule it, and checks how AI search engines mention your brand. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• One free trial per person or business. Creating extra accounts to collect more free credit isn't allowed.

3. Credits, pricing and payment

• Pay per piece. Each content format has its own price, shown before you buy. Prices are in US dollars and may change; a change never affects a piece you've already paid for.
• Free credit. New accounts receive a one-time trial credit. It has no cash value and can't be transferred or refunded.
• Regenerations. Each purchased piece includes up to 10 free regenerations or revisions.
• Failed pieces. If a piece fails to generate, its cost is returned to your balance automatically.
• Top-ups add credit to your balance and don't expire while your account is open.
• Monthly plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. Each plan's monthly credit is added at renewal and doesn't roll over. You can cancel anytime; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your full card details.
• Refunds. Purchases and unused credit are non-refundable, except for failed pieces as described above or where the law requires a refund.

4. Your content

• You keep ownership of the content you upload or enter ("Inputs") and the content the Service generates for you ("Outputs"), to the extent the law allows.
• You give us permission to store, process and transmit your Inputs and Outputs only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending them to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy.
• You confirm you have the rights to the Inputs you provide, and that using them with the Service doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.
• We don't use your content to train our own AI models.

5. AI-generated content

• Outputs are produced by AI models and can contain mistakes, out-of-date information or wording similar to other content. Review and edit every piece before you publish it. You're responsible for what you publish.
• Where information is missing, GEO Pilot inserts marked placeholders instead of inventing facts. Fill them in or remove them before publishing.
• Scores and AI visibility results are estimates based on how AI search engines answered at the time of a check. We don't guarantee that any AI search engine, LLM or search engine will mention, cite, rank or recommend you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• create content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive or fraudulent, or that impersonates someone else;
• generate spam, or run misleading reviews or manipulation campaigns;
• upload malware, or interfere with or overload the Service;
• scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the Service, or resell access to it without our permission;
• get around usage limits, pricing or security measures.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Connected accounts

If you connect an outside account, such as LinkedIn, you authorize GEO Pilot to post the content you schedule to that account, at the times you choose. Your use of that platform is governed by its own terms. You can disconnect an account at any time.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons. Sections 4 through 12 continue to apply after your account ends.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GEO Pilot won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold GEO Pilot harmless from claims arising from your Inputs, the content you publish, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which GEO Pilot is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
